Harvest time…….

Well, another year seems to be passing us by very quickly. The combining is finished for another year, and we have had our delivery from Yorkshire up to Scotland of some barley, all ready for feeding the animals for Winter. Most of the straw has been baled, with some delivered to Scotland, and some tucked up nice and dry in the shed. Although we have had some straw which was too wet to bale and use so………thats farming and the true risk of the weather. Soon you will see the farmers out around the village with their ploughs getting the land ready to be drilled with seed to start growing for next years harvest, barley, wheat and oats……
