Where better than to explore the vast North Yorkshire Moors …………wild heather, peaty bogs, paths and views to gasp at………it has it all. Call out at one of many lovely cafes for a coffee and ………..a piece of fruit ( nearly suggested cake!).
Lovely Helmsley offers a variety of boutique shops, and fine dining to suit all for when you just fancy a slow stroll around and a bit of shop window viewing……..usually followed by a purchase or two……..
Back to Overdale Cottage to snuggle up and probably have a little doze………..isn’t that what holidays are all about?
