The Highlights of Harome
We are fortunate to host two superb restaurants in our little village just a short walk from our Overdale Cottage.
The Star Inn at Harome is jewel of the village. The 14th century thatched inn, features a characterful old oak beamed bar area. It is a Michelin Star awarded restaurant serving ‘modern Yorkshire’ food made primarily from locally-sourced seasonal ingredients, such as local game, North Sea fish and fresh herbs from its own kitchen garden. There is a lovely beer garden to relax in after enjoying a local walk
The Pheasant Hotel is a very popular pub, restaurant & hotel with indoor pool. It overlooks the village local duck pond which the River Rye flows through. It was converted from the old Blacksmiths, village shop and old barns and central within the village. The Pheasant Hotel has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes in 2021.
